The 2.4 JR X9303 radios finally came in a couple of days ago and I picked one up!  Its my first JR radio but I love my Spektrum DX7 so much I had to have one (its got the spectrum RF guts in it).

I’m going to put it through its paces and report back my findings here soon!  Stay tuned…

Well, I’ve been going through the radio and figuring it out; it’s pretty straight forward really.  I like it so far!  I’m putting it in the Taxi Cup2 I picked up from Ben at the swap meet and will fly it this weekend.  I might also have my Pro Trainer in it by then.

I’ve grown up – so to speak – using helicopter radios so the ratcheted throttle is driving me nuts.  I’m going to have to change that.  Otherwise, pretty darn nice.

See ya at the field…

Well, I put the Taxi Cup2 (I got from Ben at the swap meet) into the 9303 and took it to the field Saturday.  The radio is great.  So far it has been easy to program and does everything I’ve needed.  I like the fact it comes with the NiMH battery and the roller makes quick work of moving around in the programming.  I also now have my pro trainer in the radio but have not yet flown it.

The radio definitely looks like a keeper.  I’ll continue to move all my stuff over to it – which will be easy since most of my models already have compatible receivers in them.

By the way Ben, the Taxi Cup flew great.  It loves having a real radio in it!  Wink
