Wow, is it dead in her or what?
After winning the big Taxi at the Nov give-away, I was going to sell it. But, I decided to build it instead. This plane is extremely well built. Graupner's quality is hands down better than any arf I've seen. It went together really well. The wing bolt holes needed some work to line up properly but that's it. I used an O.S. 160 twin for power, it fits the cowl perfectly. I used a mix of servos, some I had, some I bought new. I plan to test fly it tomorrow 12/28 if the weather cooperates. After the initial flights, I will make a tow release to haul up sailplanes. This plane is also my first big plane with 2.4. And, I also used a123 batteries. I should be able to fly for hours on a single charge.

Well...safety fence and airplane undamaged after two attempts and a near miss on hitting a Cub while Cub was "safely" on the runway...

Nice airplane... good build job.

Cool. Should look even better in those newspaper articles in the Spring and Summer that seem to find you.  Grin
